How the wallet works
Add balance
Top up your Tallo wallet from the app using UPI, cards, net banking or a wallet. The amount you pay is added to your balance in rupees — there is no separate coin conversion.
Use the app
Your balance is deducted only when you use a paid feature: a connected voice or video call, or a gift you choose to send. Chatting and browsing are free.
See it before you spend
Every host's per-minute rate is shown on their profile before you place a call, and your remaining balance is always visible in the app.
Why rates differ between hosts
Every host on Tallo has a call rate assigned to their level. Rates run from ₹5 to ₹50 per minute. The exact rate is always shown on the host's profile before you start a call, so you know what a call will cost before it begins.
What you should know
- Your wallet balance is a prepaid credit for using features inside Tallo. It is not a deposit, not a bank balance, and it earns no interest.
- Balance is non-transferable and cannot be withdrawn or converted back to cash.
- Once balance has been spent on a completed call or a sent gift, that amount is not refundable, because the service has already been delivered.
- If money leaves your account but your balance is not credited, contact support with the transaction details and we will investigate.
- Payments are processed by licensed Indian payment gateways. Tallo never sees or stores your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.
